Vintage Uniform Name Tag Patch If name tag is to be affixed to a garment it is recommended it is sewn on even if an iron-on backing exists (they don't in all cases) due to the age of the material and likelihood the iron-on adhesive has lost its effectiveness. I have tested some and usually it will stick, but the corners are loose. Nice find for a collector or someone who just wants to add that vintage feeling to a modern uniform, hat, shirt, or whatever.
